Wow. What an iconic day. For this episode, we’re going to continue to show small changes that make a big impact. So happy I have to do my Shaq shimmy!

My stairway needed SERIOUS TLC as it was a bit dated and bland. So, with a little paint and new artwork, my stairway can go from drab to fab. I have listed the steps to a mini stair makover below. Also, enjoy the video below for an amazing and 7 minute how-to.

Stairway Refreshing Steps:

1. Gather Materials: paint brush/roller, paint (paint and primer), paint pan, tarpe, painters tape

2. Wear paint clothes - appropriate clothing for painting - painting can get messy, especially something awkward like a stairwell

3. Clean the stair hand rails, posts, balusters and steps

4. Set the the playlist

5. Tape necessary spots

6. Paint the stair hand rail first

7. Let dry

8. Second coat if needed and/or cover mistakes

9. Paint posts next

10. Let dry

11. Second coat if needed/cover mistakes

12. Paint balusters (starting at top then work to bottom)

13. Let dry

14. Second coat if needed/cover mistakes

15. Make artwork plan

16. Hang artwork

17. Done - Enjoy your stairs
