Get Organized!

Hey Family!

So we’re two weeks into 2022 and how are we looking for those new year resolutions in the midst of this Omicron Variant?!?! Or as my friends and family know I EMPHATICALLY call, as deemed by the Black Delegation - the Omarion Variant.

Well, for me, I don’t really make resolutions. I make changes and I take action. That’s it. That’s what I do. I want to fix it, I just do it. That method helps me out way more than a resolution that is hard to stick with throughout the year.

One decision I made is being intentional about my organizing. In the pandemic, we took on new family household dynamics, unintended stress, new roles, professional positions and thus my pantry went bananas!

I’ve always been a really organized person, and as a designer I’m all about the visual. So if the visual is off, my skin crawls. FIX IT JESUS!

It was always so crazy to my husband and I that we have a pretty decent size house, with a RIDICULOUSLY small pantry. Our house is a suburban family house, and our pantry size is smaller than some apartments and townhomes that I’ve seen. Well, without blowing out a wall to get a larger pantry, I knew I needed to get it organized and organized NOW.

Before I share a brief organization tip, I have a little secret - well a big one actually…

I‘M STARTING A WEB SERIES!!!!

My amazing marketing guru of a sister thought of a video series called “22 In 22.” This means for 2022, I’ll be showing you some design tips and tricks in 22 minutes. And it will premiere of course on the 22nd of this month. Again, when I do something, I just go.
