Meet Tiana: Your Interior Designer

Hi family!

The weekend is here!!!!!! A big weekend for me indeed.

Since I’ve “officially-officially” started my journey as a full time Interior Designer, I thought it was time to re-introduce myself to some while meeting and greeting the new family. So, we’ll do a quick What’s Happening:

How Many Years Designing:

All my life. I was designing before I knew designing was a “thing.” I had a whole Lego city as a kid. It was a marvel. As a military kid, I loved designing and picking out new furniture for our new home each time we moved. Even though I never liked leaving friends, I LOVED designing the new spaces.

Favorite Color:

Blue - any shade of it. I love sky and Caribbean ocean blue the most 🌊

Favorite Food:

Anything Mexican. Growing up in San Diego, you can never pass up carne asada. 😋 Shout out to Lolita’s and JV’s taco shops. Next time, y’all can pay me for that advertisement. 🤣💰😜

Did You Study Design:

Yes. After receiving my B.A. in Psychology, I went back to school after having my first child and completed an Interior Design program.

My Personal Aesthetic:

I call it “Coastal Hip-Hop.” A laid-back comfortable style with a little bit of swag. 💃🏽

Favorite Design Show:

Rock The Block. I love it! I love to see all the different ways designers can stylize the same space. Creativity is BEAUTIFUL!

Favorite Quote:

For those who don’t know - “Won’t He Do It?!?!?” I say this at least once a day.

Be open to color. A single accent wall in a different color can drastically change a room.
